Wallow Fire on the San Carlos Reservation and Rose Peak

In this photo, smoke from the Wallow fire rises from the San Carlos Indian Reservation on the left and Rose peak on the right. The fire has run down the hills farther and so is a little closer. The smoke was intense until late morning – the wind didn’t start blowing until 10:30 or so.
